Submitted graphic According to the latest COVID-19 data released by the Scott County Health Department (SCHD) on Monday, active cases in the county have nearly doubled since the prior Monday. 100 active COVID-19 cases were reported Monday, and 57 cases were reported Monday, Jan. 3. SCHD stated in a release that there have been 92 new cases reported in Scott County since Jan. 3. In addition, the number of Scott County residents in quarantine after coming into contact with someone with COVID-19 has climbed to 76. Last week the number of quarantined individuals was 45.
