Prom at G-P this Saturday; promenade at 6:30
Western Illinois Fair in Griggsville. The queen pageant and princess pageant is open to young ladies who reside in Pike County. Pageant registration is now open. If interested in competing in the pageant, contact Hannah Pate, director, at (217) 371-9757 or westernfairqueen@gmail.com.
Griggsville-Perry Prom is Saturday, April 30. Everyone is invited to attend promenade at 6:30 p.m. in the big gym.
Congratulations to Mr. Jeff Abell who has been hired to serve as the new superintendent of Griggsville-Perry school.
Dave and Lori Brown hosted Easter dinner at their home with the following people attending: Tom and Nancy Ramlow, Valerie Brawdy, Norma Bartman, Nadine Manker, Kayce and Arthur Cole, Larry and Patty Manker, Wes Manker, Kendra Schneider, Dawnyetta Manard, Charlene and Ben Westfall, Lester, Janet and Penney Rush, Allison Brown, Alyvia Brown, Braden Lindsey, Jillian Orr, Danny Young, Marina Orr, Ashton Ionson, Aislee Wainman, Kason Brown, Sydnee Brown, Flint Kirk, Drew Henrick, Braelyn Gunder, Teresa Hammitt, Dakota Harris, Dalton Harris, Ashley Hammitt, Taylor Brown, Cajen Austin, Adelyne Loos, Amanda Brown and Travis Brown.
Loretta Butler, Thelma Butler, Vicki Norris, and Dewayne and Nadine Kessinger attended an early graduation party for Baileigh Brann of Chambersburg Sunday afternoon.
Jacqueline Hasselbring and son Lane enjoyed the weekend in Pike County visiting family, shopping, going on a hike, going for gator rides, getting acquainted with the baby kittens, and getting lost of hugs from Grandma and Grandpa Bingham and Grandma and Grandpa Myers!
