Allen Johnson, local activities coordinator for Modern Woodmen of America Chapter 1621, presents a matching fund check of $2500 to director and founder of the Calhoun Entertainment Company, Jerry Sievers, from their recent performance of the musical The Little Mermaid in March. Money was used to help offset the cost of materials and costumes. Johnson says that the work of Sievers and the CEC are vital for the people of Calhoun and surrounding counties. (Submitted photo)
