The Jacksonville Memorial Hospital Healthy Communities Collaborative will offer an open-air job fair in early June in downtown Jacksonville featuring local organizations and businesses looking to hire employees.
Colleges and trade schools will be on hand to promote professional growth opportunities.
The Healthy Communities Collaborative Job Fair will be held 4-6 p.m. Thursday, June 9, in downtown Jacksonville. Parking and admission are free. No preregistration is required.
Local employers may conduct on-the-spot interviews to fill full- and part-time positions. Representatives of Lincoln Land Community College, Illinois College and several trade schools will also participate in the job fair.
“We understand the importance of not only offering participants the chance to apply for work on-the-spot, but also offering opportunities for professional growth and development that could lead to satisfying work in the future,” said Lori Hartz, director of community health at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.
