PCSD finds drugs in home of Baylis woman

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department executed a court-authorized search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of West Fourth Street, Baylis, May 11 at 8:28 p.m.
Subsequent to an investigation, over fifty (50) grams of a substance containing methamphetamine, methamphetamine-related drug paraphernalia, and hypodermic syringes were located and seized.
Arrested, as a result of the search warrant, was Laura J. Syrcle, 35, of Baylis. Syrcle was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes, and three Pike County warrants.
Syrcle is lodged in the Pike County Jail.
