Remember the fallen this Memorial Day weekend
Memorial Day weekend is this coming weekend. Memorial Day used to be called Decoration Day and was proclaimed to remember all the service men and women who perished in the line of duty. Most of us go to the many cemeteries and place flowers on the graves of our loved ones. To me, this is what it is all about…remembering our deceased loved ones. While you are there remembering, please take time to find members of each of the cemetery boards and donate to the maintaining of the cemeteries. The cemeteries do not take care of themselves and require maintaining year around.
