What a beautiful Sunday morning the Lord has given us. Judy and I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day. Please never forget what the day stands for and why it is celebrated on the last day of May. We enjoy our freedom because of the men and women and their families who have given their lives so that future generations would be free to come and go as they please and worship as they choose. Please continue to pray for the families and victims in the Texas school shooting and all the first responders. Pray for our country and all our leaders. Satan and sin is everywhere and we must pray for the return of our country to our Heavenly Father. Please put this date of July 31 on your calendar. This is the date that the Gospel group 2 by 2 will present a concert of Gospel music during the morning worship service. There will be more information as we get closer to the date. Our message this morning was from the book of John chapter 11– Jesus and Memorial Day. I invite you to read this chapter and see the love Jesus had for his friend, Lazarus. We enjoyed special music this morning from one of our own. Thank you very much. Our most recent prayer requests are Eric and Vicky, Vera and Bob, Diane, Tina, Dorothy. We invite you to join us at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings for our Bible study. God bless.
