Hello from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship with nursery service and kids church available. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, June 12 we had 20 attending Sunday school and 31 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Junia Day, Lois Hart, Rod and Connie Sturgeon, Rich and Judy Caskey, Bob and Stephanie Krempasky, Madisyn Smith, Josh and Judy Cannon, Mancel and Julie Day, George Rogers, Peggy Clemons, Jodi and Hunter Carriger, Judy McCurley, Robin Snodgrass, John Kennedy, Paul Lair, Doug Norris, Rick Dawdy, Karla and Delores Cannon, Carol Crochett, Joyce Wells Mann, Susan Hand, Keri Hull, Birdie Sturgeon, Vernon Dunlap, Owen Baird, Dalton Mitchell, Brayden Allen, Karl Schmidt, John and Karen Hardwick, Michael Hazelwood, Journee Vinyard, Carole Berry, Rich and Lisa Icide, Darren and Shelly Pohlman, Art Rogers, Becky Camden, Kirsten Lair, Clea Shearer, LaNise Kirk, Don and Ashley Keeling, and the families of Richard Taylor, Tara Dawdy, Cheryl Hamel, and Sam Wallace.
Our pastor was out sick today, so we shared testimonies and songs.
Rich Caskey sang “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” “Get in Line Brother,” and “Life’s Setting Sun.”
We will not be having a monthly ladies luncheon this month due to health problems. We are trying to find someone to take it over. We will keep you informed.
Our VBS “HayDay” will be July 15, 16 and 17.
If your church is not volunteering to help with summer lunches, check into it. It’s a fun week of working together for the community.
That’s all for this week. Have a good week and keep cool.
