The Pike County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Griggsville man, June 15 on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender and false information provided by a sex offender.
The incident came under investigation when law enforcement officials discovered Isaac E. Henson, who is currently on felony probation in Pike County, Illinois for the offenses of indecent solicitation of a child and grooming, was utilizing a social media site listed under another person’s name.
Henson remains lodged in the Pike County Jail.
The second arrest came the next day when officers concluded seven-month investigation into actions by Charles Sonny Ray Martin, 36, of Center, Mo.
Martin was arrested June 16 on three counts of predatory criminal sexual assaulted aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
It is alleged that both victim in the Martin case were under the age of 13.
Martin remains lodged in the Pike County Jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
