Rex and Caryl (Prunty) McIntire from Winchester will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 24.
The McIntires were wed on June 24, 1972, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Winchester. Rex worked as a construction supervisor and cattle farmer, in addition to his work as owner of McIntire & Company Contractors.
Caryl worked as a court reporter and office manager/co-owner of McIntire & Company Contractors.
Rex and Caryl are the loving parents of three children, Jeff McIntire, Jennifer (Reggie) Summers, and Jarah (Nick) McAdams. They are grandparents to seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who all adore them entirely.
They are each a beloved brother and sister to several siblings, and Caryl is the daughter of one surviving parent, her mother, Norma Prunty, of Jacksonville. She is the daughter of the late Keith Prunty. Rex is the son of the late Hubert and Gilda McIntire.
They are both excited to celebrate this momentous occasion at a dinner party with their close family and friends.
