Peggy (Kadell) Junge | 83 | Jerseyville

Peggy (Kadell) Junge, age 83, passed on into the arms of Jesus on Sunday (July 17, 2022) at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born May 13, 1939 near Jerseyville, Ill. daughter of the late Carroll and Pauline (Steinacher) Giberson.
She was a 1957 graduate of Carrollton High School.  In 1958 she married Robert Kadell of Jerseyville and with this union had three surviving daughters, Terri Meuth (Tom) of Carrollton, Ill., Jami Kirchner (Bill) of Jerseyville, Ill., Gina Bryant (Daniel) of Jerseyville, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Brandon Meuth (companion Stacy) of Jerseyville, Ill., Shelby Bockstruck (Eric) of Jerseyville, Ill., Shannon Leeds (Paul) of Canton, Ill., Tiffany Smith (Andrew) of Kirkwood, Mo., Marissa Kirchner of Jerseyville, Ill., Stacy Winder (Donald) of Jerseyville, Ill., Jody Cowger (Ryan) of Jerseyville, Il., Jennifer Bryant of Jerseyville, Ill., and Alicia Cross (Jay) of Kirkwood, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Kylie Slagle (Carter) of Winchester, Ill., Cole Brannan (fiancé Delcy) of Carrollton, Ill., Libby Meuth of Carrollton, Ill., Ethan Brannan of Hill Air Force Base, Hill, Utah, Clay Meuth of Carrollton, Ill., Charlie Bockstruck of Jerseyville, Ill., Georgia (Peachy) Smith of Kirkwood, Mo., Hadley and Ava Williams of Jerseyville, Ill., Nolan and Nash Winder of Jerseyville, Ill., Lyndon Cowger of Jerseyville, Ill., Ainsley and Jasper Cross of Kirkwood, Mo.; great-great grandchildren, Myles and Briggs Slagle of Winchester, Ill.; very close friends, Cathy Brockman of Jerseyville and Neva Noble of Houston, Texas.;  and several nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by parents Pauline in 1997 and Carroll in 2009; a daughter, Dana Kadell in 1987; and a brother, Kilby Giberson and wife Kay.
Peggy owned and operated Peggy’s Beauty Salon in Jerseyville, Ill. for 20 years. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, canning, and flowers.  She was a devout Christian who enjoyed her many bible study groups and the time she spent volunteering with First Fruit ministries in Jerseyville.  Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Private services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Fruit Ministries and sent to Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, Box 112, Carrollton, Il. 62016.  Condolences may be sent to the family online www.airsman-hires.com.
