Jerseyville Post 492 Panthers

Jerseyville Post 492 Panthers were declared third division champions last week. Coach Darren Perdun said the team played great against Peoria with Clay East pitching in their first game for a 9 – 1 win. Easton Heafner and Jacob Wagner shared the mound for an 8 – 1 win in their second game. The Panthers will go on to play in the State Junior Legion Championship Thursday, July 28, at 2:30 p.m. in Aviston.
