Have some great breakfast this Sunday, Aug. 7, and support a good cause: the Kampsville Sesquicentennial Summer Celebration.
Breakfast will be served at the Kampsville American Legion from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Please come out and have some good food and help out a good cause.
Our Queen still hasn’t been found, so get your ticket.
We are working very hard to get everything ready for the Sesquicentennial Celebration on Aug. 20 – we have a fun day planned for everyone. Make plans to spend the day with us in Kampsville. The BBQ cook-off starts off early in the morning and the fun just gets better from there.
This year, from 1-3 p.m., we will have “Jay the Balloon Guy and Magician” on the grounds. Thank you to all who made donations for the trophies for the kids stage games and to all who are donating baskets.
We are also still working on our time capsule. We will have an information table at the event.
Happy 17th Birthday Owen Clowers on Aug. 28. Happy Birthday Olivia Clowers and Quinlan Leavell who both celebrated their 21st birthdays on July 30 and Debbie Becker who celebrated on the 31st.
Happy 25th Anniversary to Rod and Jeri Hart on July 26. A huge Happy 49th Anniversary to Jon and Karlyon Wankel on July 27.
