We have had some wonderful improvements to our buildings over the summer. The GHS gymnasium was air conditioned; the GES gymnasium and cafeteria were air conditioned; heating/cooling units are being installed in many of the elementary school classrooms. We also welcome a number of new faces to our district: Tonya Elliott, paraprofessional; Tristen Gilbert, paraprofessional; Lecretia Huff, 6th grade teacher; Leah Jones, paraprofessional; Karla Lero , K-12 music/band teacher; Maddie Nichols, kindergarten teacher; Dr. William Phillips, Interim Superintendent; Brooke Reichart, pre-K teacher; Darbey Tepen, FACS teacher and Abigail Weisner, HS English teacher. The Randy Walker Orange and Black Football Game will be held Friday night. Punt, Pass & Kick registration will be at 4 p.m. and the Tiger Backers will begin serving the meal at 5 p.m. There are no pre-sale tickets this year. Two meat meal = $10; one meat meal = $8; individual sandwiches = $5. Have a great week – Go Get ‘Em, Tigers!
