Panthers fall to Bulldogs

The Jersey Panthers fell to the Highland Bulldogs in last Friday’s Homecoming match up at Jersey, 61-19.
The Bulldogs started out with a strong offense in first quarter taking a 28-0 lead.
Jersey was able to get on the board in the final seconds of the first with a touchdown off of a return, closing the first quarter out at 28-7.
Highland came back in full force in the second quarter allowing the Panthers only one touchdown in the second quarter taking large lead at halftime, 48-13.
The Panthers were able to get another touchdown in the second half, but it wasn’t enough against the Highland offense with the Bulldogs securing the win, 61-19.
The Panthers travel to Mascoutah this Friday to take on the 3-1 Indians.
