The Panthers had a tough week in soccer facing off against Highland and Triad in conference games.
The Highland Bulldogs beat the Panthers 8-2 with Drake Goetten and Keegan Griffith each scoring for the Panthers. Clay East and Adam Kribs shared goals for Jersey with six saves for the Panthers.
The Panthers fell to Triad on Tuesday, 9-1. The Panthers took nine shots on the goal, but were only able to secure one goal from Adam Kribs.
The Lady Panthers took two conference game losses in volleyball this week against Mascoutah and Highland.
Mascoutah beat Jersey in two sets 25-9 and 25-14, with Kari Krueger getting five kills, Lauren Lyons had three kills, Grace Shalley had two and Taylor Stelbrink had one.
The Lady Panthers gave Highland a much more difficult time on Tuesday, going 26-24 in the first set and 25-22 in the second.
The Lady Panthers are scheduled to play away abasing Triad on Thursday before hosting Civic Memorial on Tuesday.
The boys are scheduled to host Mascoutah in soccer on Tuesday before traveling to Jacksonville on Friday.
