The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals after conducting a traffic stop on Route 96 near Mozier Junction on Friday, Sept. 23. According to a press release, during the stop and investigation the driver of the vehicle, Stephanie Shelton, 45, of Barry, was arrested for warrants out of Pike County and Calhoun County.
The passenger, Teresa Hammitt, 58, of Barry, was also arrested for a warrant out of Pike County and was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
