The North Greene Junior High Lady Warriors hosted Jacksonville Our Saviour last week and walked away with a win 23-8 win over the Lady Knights. Because the Lady Knights could not field a seventh-grade team, there was only an eighth grade game.
Six Lady Warriors put points on the board with Layna Bushnell the high-scorer on the night with 11 points. She also pulled down 3 rebounds had had 5 steals. Addy Snyder added 4 points, 4 rebounds and 5 steals while Laney Turner added 2 points and 3 rebounds.
Scoring was rounded out with Ayawa Dohon-Siatey scoring 2 points, pulling down 6 rebounds and coming away with 6 steals. Brooklyn Sharrow came off the bench to add 2 points and 3 rebounds; Chloe Harney also had 2 points, 4 rebounds and 1 steal and Savette Schofield was a beast under the basket with 7 rebounds.
