The fifth annual Christmas in Calhoun event will be taking place this Saturday, Dec. 3, from 1-6 p.m. on Main Street in Hardin.
Vendors will be set up and there will be numerous other activities taking place in Hardin throughout the afternoon. A full list of vendors will be announced on the Christmas in Calhoun Facebook page later this week.
There will also be several events taking place at the Rastello Room during Christmas in Calhoun. From 1-4 p.m. a session of painting with Michelle Dale will be offered at a cost of $55 per person, which includes all supplies. Participants will take home their own 16×20 inch paintings. Appetizers and drinks will also be provided and artists can bring their own bottle of wine.

Later on that evening, from 4-6:30 p.m., Elf School will be taking place at Rastello
At a cost of $15 per student, children will be able to enroll in Elf School. Included in the cost: Official Elf Diploma, personalized elf name, elf hat, rosy cheeks, elf song, craft, and a snack. Classes will take place every 30 minutes, starting at 4 p.m.

Also on Saturday, Calhoun High School (CHS) National Honors Society will be selling chicken and dumplings at Christmas in Calhoun for $6 per bowl and $30 per gallon.
