The following police reports were filed between December 30, 2022 and January 5, 2023. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Greene County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
McEvers, Amber L., dob 11-05-1975, possession of meth less than five grams, possess drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession cannabis/driver, operate motor vehicle/registration/suspended.
Edwards, Brandon K., dob 8-23-1991, aggravated criminal sex abuse/victim older than five years of age.
Counts, Jodi R., dob 7-05-1988, aggravated battery/peace officer, aggravated battery/great bodily harm, aggravated assault peace officer/fireman/emergency worker.
The following individual was charged with a misdemeanor:
Hazelwood, Douglas W., dob 6-12-1985, criminal damage to property less than $500.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
Mayes, Austin L., dob 6-14-1997, domestic battery/bodily harm, criminal damage to property less than $500.
The following individuals were charged with a conservation violation:
Smith, Albert E., dob 1-13-1956, deer hunting permit violation.
Smith, Michael J., dob 8-31-1981, two charges of deer hunting permit violation.
Smith, Robert T., dob 7-15-1983, three charges of deer hunting permit violation.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Hopper, Jonah C., dob 11-19-1999, unlawful possession of cannabis/driver, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Davis, Frank Andrea, dob 11-16-1958, driving on suspended license, driving 1-10 mph above limit.
Cunningham, Dustin P., dob 8-29-1991, driver’s license expired more than a year, operate motor vehicle/registration/suspended.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Stanfield, David R., dob 2-08-1990, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Stephens, Terez C., dob 5-05-1992, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Johnson, Cody M., dob 3-14-1995, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Hazel, Brianna L., dob 6-28-1989, child restraint violation/child between 8-16 years old, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Popplewell, Jamie D., dob 11-02-1972, unsafe backing on a roadway.
Mercer, Christian A., dob 6-20-1995, expiration of registration.
Cox, Kyiah E., dob 11-22-2003, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
