The Jersey Panthers beat Carrollton in a home match Saturday, Jan. 7.
After briefly trailing the Hawks in the second quarter, the Panthers took a 28-21 lead by halftime with help of a 3-pointer from Meredith Gray.
The Panthers kept their momentum throughout the second half of the game, 39-31 lead at the end of the third before sealing the win at 52-41.
Jersey went on to beat Gillespie in Monday’s home game. Putting up 24 points in the second quarter, the Panthers carried a 18-point lead into halftime, 40-22, before securing the win the second half, 62-53.
The Panthers are set to host the Civic Memorial Eagles on Thursday, Jan. 12, at 7:30 p.m.
