Jersey Lady Panther Head Coach Ron Twichell presented Tessa Crawford with the game ball after Crawford scored her 1,000 point during the first quarter of the Lady Panther’s game against the Marquette Lady Explorers during the Lady Hawk Tournament on Saturday in Carrollton. Crawford needed just one point to reach the 1,000 point milestone, which she reached on a free-throw after being fouled. Crawford joins an elite group of Jersey graduates. She became only the 15th player in Jersey history to score 1,000 points in their high school career. She ended the night at Carrollton as the high scorer for the Lady Panthers with 15 points in Jersey’s upset loss to Alton Marquette.
