Maddox Chapman, Jerzi Clark, and Mia Sievers, each won their school shootout for their different age groups and advanced to the local Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest that took place Saturday, Jan. 14 at the JHS Bowl. After winning first place at the local contest, they all advanced to the district level that took place on Saturday, Jan. 21 at the JHS bowl. They each won first place at that contest and are now moving onto the Elks Hoop Shoot contest at the State level in Springfield that will take place at George Washington Middle School on Feb. 10-11.
