Meyer-Herter family enjoys January Christmas celebration, reunion
On Sunday, Jan. 8, the Meyer-Herter Christmas drink was enjoyed at the home of Larry and Susan Meyer of South Calhoun. Those in attendance said they believe this was the 60th times, but no one knows for sure. Turtle soup from St. Mary’s was the hit food of the evening, as many of those attending don’t get to enjoy it often. Attending were Larry and Susan Meyer, Fred and Marty Herter, Dorothy Meyer, Lonnie and Loretta Hattimer, Marty and Kelsey Meyer, Al and Diane Herter, Eric and Ally Mae.
