Calhoun PTO took it “Back to the 80s” on Saturday night at the Calhoun Knights of Columbus Hall, with their 1980s-themed Adult Prom. It featured a Nacho Bar and many silent auction items. The band, Exit 52, performed live 80s cover songs throughout the dance.
The PTO funds field trips for students and gives teachers money for their classroom needs that are not covered under budget expenses.
In the past, they have bought new chrome books and other technology needs in the classrooms. The PTO is planning to buy new basketball hoops for the playground.
According to organizers, the event was a success and a lot of fun was had by all who attended.
