• Beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 1, St. Vincent De Paul will be open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for people to pick up food.
• Community members interested in joining the Calhoun Growth Association are invited to attend a strategic planning meeting to formally establish the organization with community input. Topics will include:
• Discussing membership/sponsorship roles
• Identifying board positions
• Determining legal entity formation
• Developing priorities & goals for the next 12-24 months.

Monday, Feb. 6
• Modern Woodmen will be holding a Chapter 18050 dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Illinois River Dock Restaurant in Hardin.
• Warrior Pride will host a Chicken and Dumpling Supper at Calhoun High School beginning at 5 p.m. Chicken and dumplings will be served as well as dessert.
Friday, Feb. 17
• Father/Daughter Dance at the KC Hall in Hardin from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 18
• Modern Woodmen will be holding a Chapter 1621 breakfast buffet from 8 to 10 a.m. at Illinois River Dock Restaurant in Hardin.
Thursday, March 23-Sunday, March 28
• The Center for American Archaeology museum is hosting the 9-5 musical. The story is about friendship and revenge in the Rolodex area. The center is located at 156 N. Broadway in Kampsville. Showtimes have not yet been released.
