Michael Hollahan, an attorney in Pittsfield, is retiring at the end of this year.
“I will be finishing up cases and might take a case that will be resolved within the year,” Hollahan said.
Hollahan’s Law Office on Washington Street on the south side of the square, currently houses three business, Hollahan’s Law Practice, Eagle Title, and Keisha Morris, another law firm.
Morris was previously the assistant state’s attorney in Pike County and also served as the Calhoun County State’s Attorney.
Chrissy Pence is the agency manager of Eagle Title. Employees are Brendan Hollahan and Lori Fox.
“Hopefully those two businesses will stay,” Hollahan said. “Pike County needs the attorneys, outside the courthouse, three attorneys are in their 70s and one in his 60s.”
