The Greene-Calhoun CEO held their Lucky Leprechaun Drawing and Dinner on Feb. 5 at the KC Hall in Carrollton and the place was packed.
For a mere $20, one received a delicious spaghetti dinner, cooked by the students in the program, three chances to win some really fabulous, and expensive raffle items, plus 31 more chances during the month of March to win cash prizes.
But most important of all, it was a chance to invest in the future of the young people in Greene and Calhoun counties.
The raffle baskets included a $500 Scheels gift card; an Apple products basket, including an Apple Watch, AirPods and Air Tag, and a Yeti products basket which included a Tundra 35 hard cooler, Rambler 20-ounce tumbler and Hopper 18-ounce soft cooler. Three tickets were included in the $20 ticket price for the dinner but additional tickets could be purchased for $2 each or 10 tickets for $15.
The lucky winners were: Scheels Gift Card, Kari Burton; Apple Products Basket, Mia Fisher and Yeti Basket, Chris Hayn.
Even though the dinner is over, tickets can still be purchased for $20 for a chance to win cash every day during the month of March. They can be purchased from any Greene-Calhoun CEO student.
Each ticket is numbered and if your number is the same number selected as the daily Pick 3 by the Illinois Lottery, you win the cash for that day. Cash prizes are $100 each week day, $200 on Saturdays and Sundays and $500 on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17).
