The Jersey Panthers finished the season Friday, Feb. 24, in the Regional Championship match against the Triad Knights at Civic Memorial, 42-25.
The Panthers kept things close in the first quarter of Friday’s game trailing Triad by one point, but the Knights put 13 points on the board in the second quarter for a nine-point lead at the half, 21-12.
Ayden Kanallakan sank two 3s for the Panthers in the third quarter as Jersey came close to taking control of the game, but Triad put up 13 points in the fourth quarter to secure the win, 42-25.
Kanallakan led the Panthers in scoring Friday with eight points, followed by Meisner with five points, Francis Vogel with four points and Drake Goetten and Jaxon Brunaugh with three points.
