Cool, but beautiful Sunday drive to church. We still have several church family members that are not feeling well and we pray for them daily.
Sunday morning, March 26, Walkerville Baptist Church will welcome the singing group, 2 by 2, in concert at our 10:30 a.m. worship hour. They have been ministering in song for 35 years and are from the Arenzville, Ill. area. There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be received.
Wednesday morning Bible study is at 9:30 a.m. and all are welcome. Our text this morning was from 1 Cor. 11:23-29, “The Lord’s Supper.” I invite you to read this chapter, especially the above listed verses. Satan uses people, places, and things to try and defeat our Lord Jesus Christ. Try as he may, he was unable to defeat Jesus and if we place our trust in Him, Satan has no chance of defeating us.
Our recent prayer needs are George Campbell, Vera’s niece, Randy and Diane, Dorothy, and Eric. We invite you to join us each Sunday morning for our 10:30 a.m. worship service. We invite you to join us for our Wednesday morning Bible study at 9:30 a.m. We invite you to join us March 26, as 2 by 2 will be in concert.
