Feb.25, at 9:30 p.m., the Pike County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on County Highway #2 near 420th Lane, Griggsville, on a black 2000 Chevrolet truck.
Subsequent to an investigation, a passenger, Gerald W. Kirgan,46, of Griggsville,was arrested on the following charges: Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, unlawful possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle by passenger. illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger.
Kirgan was lodged in the Pike County Jail. He appeared in court Feb. 28 and had bond set at $18,000.
