News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship with kids church and nursery service available. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, March 5, we had 19 attending Sunday school and 35 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in our prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Junia Day, Rod and Connie Sturgeon, Bob and Stephanie Krempasky, Josh and Judy Cannon, Madisyn Smith, Delores and Karla Cannon, Drake Rueter, Karl Schmidt, Darren and Shelly Pohlman, LaNise Kirk, Rich Icide, Jessica Andrews, John Kennedy, Journee Vinyard, M. B. Williams, Khalil Heyman, Danyel Staats, Kennedy Eveans, Steve and Kelli Angel, Danny and Genise Hatcher, Jim Cox, Betty Bruce, Connie Fair, Mike Keenan, Chuck Roberts, Paul Lair, Pattie Ann Anthony, Raymond Martin, Jonah Hart, Lance Eldred, the Tyson Baby, David Wells and the Foster family in Kentucky.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Desnee Ford March 15. There are no anniversaries to report.
Don’t forget before you go to bed Saturday night to move your clocks ahead one hour for Daylight Saving Time.
We will be having game night Friday, March 17, at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Corned beef and cabbage will be furnished.
Our monthly ladies luncheon will be Tuesday, March 21 at noon in the fellowship hall.
During morning worship Rich Caskey sang “This Ole’ House.”
Mother Nature is deciding to cool it down a little this week. Spring will soon be here (we hope).
