Daniel C. Hardwick, Sr., age 56, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, at his residence. He was born Oct. 9, 1966, in Rochelle, the son of Paul F. and Shirley K. Kitsmiller. He married Ava Pruiett in 1986 and later divorced, He then married Renee Saunders June 15, 2018 and she survives.He is also survived by his children, Daniel (Diane) Hardwick Jr. and Danielle (Jamie) Miller both of Carrollton, Chad (Jackie) Barber of New Berg, MO, Anthony (Crystal) Fogle of Brighton, Nathaniel (Whitney) Higuera of Jerseyville, Derek (April Mundy) Fogle  of Godfrey, Chrystal Barber of Greenfield, and Samantha Pitchford of Dayton, OH; twenty one grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a sister, Vicky (James) Reno of Jacksonville; six brothers, Steve (Kathy) Hardwick of Roodhouse, Tim Hardwick of Jacksonville, Tony Hardwick of Greenfield, Roger (April Vieira) Hardwick of Jacksonville, Chris Hardwick of Jacksonville, and Jeff (Chantel) Hazelwood of Roodhouse; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Mike, Calvin, and Jody Hardwick.
He worked for Suttles Log and Lumber in Greenfield for more than 20 years. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting, metal detecting, fishing, hunting, and junking.
