Mark and Becky Winner of Pittsfield celebrated their 50th anniversary on March 3 with supper at Longhorn Steakhouse in Springfield.
On Sunday, March 5, they had a ceremony at the Detroit Christian Church, where they renewed their wedding vows. Officiating at that ceremony was their son, Joe Winner. Then the celebration moved to the Riverbank Grill near the Florence Bridge. Those attending from Pittsfield were Joe and Katy Winner, Nic and Kristina Carter, Nichola and JJ, Wanda Blacketer, Samantha Clostermery, and Sean and Carlyle Lewis. Others attending were Connie Jensen of Aledo, Debbie Varadin of St. Louis, John Wood and Kay of St. Louis, Tim and Kathie Carter and Brennan of Camp Point, Sharon Burgdorff of Barry, Rena Waddell, of Louisiana, Wyvetta Davis of New Salem, and Mary and Brian Dobbins of Springfield.
Mark and Becky were married at the New Salem Methodist Church.
