The Jersey Community High School (JCHS) boys and girls track teams hosted the Winter Thaw track meet at Principia College in Elsah on Saturday, March 11.
Here are the results for Jersey athletes who placed in the top eight of their event:
Lexi Trexler placed eighth in high jump; Annabelle Yamnitz placed seventh in long jump; Delaney Deist placed fourth in pole vault; the boys 4×200 team, consisting of Casey Borkowski, Isaac Loges, Aiden Talley and Landon Jones, placed second with a time of 1:36.3 (currently the 10th fastest 2A time in the state); Casey Borkowski placed seventh in the in the 60m sprint and third in the 200m; freshman Logan Wade placed eighth in the 3200m run; Landon Jones placed third in the long jump; and Brendan Schultz placed seventh in the pole vault.
