Youth League Basketball at North Greene is in full swing and each Saturday morning both gyms at Roodhouse Elementary are abuzz with activity as children in first through fourth grades, both boys and girls teams, learn to play the game and have fun doing it.

The big smile on Tannin Walters face as he takes the ball down the court wasn’t just a lucky shot, this boy had a smile on his face every time he touched the ball. He clearly enjoyed the game. Clay Robeen, left, on the other hand, was dead serious about trying to get it away from him.

Miles Malin, left, might be one of the littlest guys on the team, but he is also the scrappiest. Wherever the ball is, he is not far behind, a fact that Liam Bingamen, right, had to deal with for almost the entire game.
