The Pike County Chamber of Commerce invites members of the business community and members of the general public to attend the Pike County Chamber’s annual meeting Thursday, March 30, at the JWCC Southeast Education Center at 4 p.m. Annual award winners will be recognized for Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Community Betterment – and the recipient for the Fickle Goddess of Fortune will be recognized!! Enjoy an evening of networking, an overview of Chamber activities, and light hors d’oeuvres.In order to be considered for Business of the year nominees must be an active business located or operating in Pike County, Ill. In addition, nominees must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:
∙Exceptional performance & growth
∙Outstanding employment practices
∙Innovative products or services
∙Exemplary customer service
∙Response to adversity
∙Community involvement
∙Attracts tourists and visitors to Pike County.
This Community Betterment Award is intended to recognize the contribution of an individual, or group of individuals whose vision and actions have bettered the city or village in which they live.The nominee for Pike County Chamber of Commerce Volunteer if the Year must be a resident of Pike County, Ill. who actively volunteers his or her time in the county or his or her community.
