The Warriors started the softball season off with a win over Carlinville last week. The Warriors are set to travel to Western and Quincy Notre Dame before hosting East Alton-Wood River on Wednesday.
The Calhoun Lady Warriors started the season off with a win against Carlinville Thursday, March 16.
Scoring one run in the first inning, two runs in the fourth and three in the fifth inning, the Warriors were able to take a 6-1 win over Carlinville.
Kylie Angel and Audrey Gilman shared the mound allowing only one run from Carlinville. Angel went for five innings throwing seven strikeouts, and Gilman threw two innings with three.
Ella Sievers and Jaelyn Hill each scored one run for Calhoun, with Angel and Gilman each scoring two.
The Warriors are set to play at Western on Friday and Quincy Notre Dame on Saturday before hosting East Alton-Wood River on Wednesday, March 29, at 4:30 p.m.
