News from Pastor Mancel Day and Barrow Baptist Church. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is invited to either or both services. We are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, March 19, we had 21 attending Sunday school and 28 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Junia Day, Rod and Connie Sturgeon, Josh and Judy Cannon, Bob and Stephanie Krempasky, Hunter Carriger, Madisyn Smith, Delores and Karla Cannon, Drake Rueter, Karl Schmidt, Darren and Shelly Pohlman, LaNise Kirk, Rich Icide, Jessica Andrews, John Kennedy, Journee Vinyard, Danyel Staats, Kennedy Eveans, Steve and Kelli Angel, Danny and Genise Hatcher, Christy Walker, Bernie Faul, Michael Ryan, Betty Bruce, David Wells, Paul Reger, Tina Gillis, Raymond Martin, Jonah Hart, Haley Sue Moore, Barb Scholmeier Schnelten, and the Rhine family.
There are no birthdays to report this week. Happy anniversary to Russell and Carole Wells March 28.
On Friday evening, approximately 30 people attended our St. Patrick’s Day game night. Corned beef and cabbage, ham and beans and lots of other good food and desserts were enjoyed by all. We were divided up into four teams and nine games were played with the blue team winning. Several games really tested your skills.
Our ladies luncheon in April will be Tuesday, April 11, in the fellowship hall at noon.
Lots of rain in the forecast for our first week of spring.
