Bea (Neese) Weaver was born in Nebo, Ill. on April 17, 1923, and has had a very happy life for the past 100 years.
She was married to Howard Weaver (now deceased) and has two children; Larry (Starla) Weaver and Garry (Sue) Weaver. She also has two grandchildren, John and David Weaver. She was a homemaker in Godfrey most of her life and sold Shaklee products out of her home for many years.
Bea was always there to help loved ones, putting the needs of others before herself. She helped care for aging parents, and was there to support loved ones that needed assistance. Bea also spent many hours at the hospital and homes, visiting relatives and loved ones, providing emotional support and comfort to those in need.
As a grandmother, she was always there to assist caring for and supporting her two grandchildren whom she loves dearly. Picking the kids up from school and going to the park and watching them play is something she enjoyed. As a health-minded person, she was always keen to provide healthy, nutritious food. She loved going to church and church activities and has been a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
She has also always enjoyed exercising, traveling and fishing.
Bea is known as someone with a big heart and doing everything she can to bring joy and happiness to others. She doesn’t know a stranger and is quick to make new friends. She is a good listener, as well as a good storyteller; and after 100 years…boy does she have some good stories to tell! She is so proud to be turning 100 years old, and she just can’t believe it!
