Third graders from Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish in Brussels traveled to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Springfield, Ill., on Saturday, April 1, where they made their First Communion and Confirmation.
Bishop Thomas John Paprocki administers these sacraments at the Cathedral for young catholics across the diocese.
Receiving the sacraments were Reed Droege, Kylie Sievers, Riggs Wallendorf, Lila Sievers, Alayna Lockwood, Carson Tepen, Stephen Long, Harper Klocke, and Maeve Roth.
