Hello from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is welcome and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, May 7, we had 26 attending Sunday school and 29 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Junia Day, Rod and Connie Sturgeon, Hunter Carriger, Josh and Judy Cannon, Dan and Genise Hatcher, Carly Cathcart, Delores and Karla Cannon, Betty Bruce, Patty Sturgeon Voyls, Kelsey Manley, Verma Lee Carlton, Connie Fair, Ray Steele, Jenny Godar, Tina Gillis, Eric Mumford, Rich Icide, LaNise Kirk, Daren and Shelly Pohlman, Jessica Andrews, John Kennedy, Journee Vinyard, Danyel Staats, Sheryl Herschberger, Jonah Hart, Jerry Scarfo and the families of Brooks Alexander and Cecil Lyons.
There are no birthdays or anniversaries to report this week.
During morning worship Lora Steele read a reading titled “The Starfish,” Rich Caskey sang “Two Coats” and several shared testimonies and praises.
Hopefully you have enjoyed the recent rains we have received. You can see the corn and beans sprouting up from the ground after the much needed rain.
