The Greenfield North-western Tigers softball team traveled to Calhoun where they were demolished by the Lady Warriors, 10-2.
Calhoun scored one run in the first inning, two in the third inning, six in the fifth inning, and one in the sixth inning. The Tigers remained scoreless throughout the game until the sixth inning where they managed to put up two runs.
Scoring for the Lady Warriors were Audrey Gilman with two runs, Grace Ballard with two runs, Lila Simon with one run, Delani Klass with one run, Kiera Sievers with one run, Carly Pohlman with one run, Lacy Pohlman with one run, and Sadie Kiel with one run. Calhoun’s pitchers were Audrey Gilman and A. Eilerman. The Tigers two runs were scored on Eilerman.
The Regional game will be played on Wednesday, May 17, at 4:30 p.m. in Greenfield.
