Hello from Pastor Mancel Day and Barrow Baptist Church. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicapped accessible.
On Sunday, May 14, we had 25 attending Sunday school and 32 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Junia Day, Rod and Connie Sturgeon, Josh and Judy Cannon, Dan and Genise Hatcher, Hunter Carriger, Delores and Karla Cannon, Darren and Shelly Pohlman, LaNise Kirk, Rich Icide, Jessica Andrews, John Kennedy, Journee Vinyard, Danyel Staats, Christy Walker, Sheryl Herschberger, Bernie Faul, Jonah Hart, Betty Bruce, Ray Steele, Chuck Roberts, Jenny Godar, Tina Gillis, Don Muntz, Gina Kallal, Connie Fair, Judy, David and Tom Davenport, Patti Gregory, Verma Lee Carlton, Don and Judy Bigley, Seth James, Ilene Hayes, Don Jefferson, Patty Sturgeon Vos, Angie Churchill, Cherry Openlander, and the families of Duane Bell, John Passavage and Jerry Scarfo.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Carole Wells May 21. There are no anniversaries to report this week.
Don’t forget our VBS will be July 21-23.
During morning worship several shared stories about their mothers, and several read readings. Rich Caskey sang “Nobody’s Child.”
Don’t forget to thank the good Lord for the much needed rain we have received.
