West Central will host an IHSA Class A Baseball regional in Winchester this week.
Brown County is the top ranked team in the regional while West Central is second. Brown County has beaten the Cougars in regional play in the previous two years.
The regional will begin May 15 with games in Springfield and Concord. Pleasant Hill will play at Springfield Lutheran and Griggsville-Perry will play at Triopia. Both games start at 4:30 p.m.
Brown County will play the winner of the Lutheran and Pleasant Hill game in Winchester on May 17. West Central will play the winner of the Griggville-Perry and Triopia game on May 18. These games also begin at 4:30 p.m.
The championship game will be Saturday, May 20 at 1 p.m. The winner will advance to the Brown County sectional and play the winner of the Bushnell-Prairie City regional on May 25 at 4:30 p.m.
