Congratulations to the Class of 2023 who graduated Friday evening from Calhoun High School. She will be attending Illinois College in the fall.

All three of these girls are absolutely amazing and I’m sure they will do great things.

The community garden is planted and moving forward. Thanks to all who volunteered and helped and all those who donated plants.
The Kampsville Kreamery should be up and going this week. We are all very excited about this ice cream shop. It is located right beside the Christmas shop and owners are Bill and Marcia Agney.
Kenny Johnson, Ed Johnson and Dustin Scoggins worked Saturday morning in the Community Garden. It is located behind the ice cream shop.
Mayor Johnson reached out to me and asked me to let everyone know what the issue last week was with the Boil order. The guys installing the fiber optic thought they had hit a line. They immediately contacted our water guy. Dustin. Dustin then asked that a boil order be placed for a precaution. As it turns out, they did not hit a waterline. It was simply a kink in the line and so the boil order was immediately lifted.
Happy Anniversary to Travis and Peggy Hall on May 21.
