Students of Mrs. Lynn Curry recently presented their annual spring piano recital program in the rural Griggsville home of Kim and Lynn Curry. Fourteen musical selections were presented. Students performing solos were Owen Gerard and Katelyn Musgrove of Pittsfield and Karter Risley of Griggsville.
Piano solos were The Duke of Bedford’s March, Musette, Rolling River, Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow, Sports Car Boogie, Sea Fantasy, Jesus Loves Me, and Introduction and Fugato. Piano duets included Yellow Rose of Texas – Owen and Brandon Gerard, Billy Goat Rag – Owen Gerard and Debbie Jackson, Can-Can and Jesus Loves Me – Karter Risley and Lynn Curry, Kindermarsch and Christ the Lord is Risen Today – Katelyn and Megan Musgrove.
Congratulations to the Musgrove sisters who received excellent ratings for their solo and duet performances at the high school music contests!
Each student received a music carry bag gift. The students were commended for their musical progress and efforts the past year. The evening concluded with attendees enjoying refreshments and visiting.
