The Calhoun Warriors fell to the Carrollton Hawks in the Sectional Championship match on Saturday, 2-1.
Lila Simon hit a home run for the Warriors early in the game, allowing a 1-0 lead over the Hawks until the sixth inning.
Two runs in the sixth inning were enough for Carrollton to take the win over the Warriors and secure the championship win.
Calhoun started sectional play with a 2-1 win over Okawville on Tuesday, while Carrollton took a 6-0 win against Valmeyer on Wednesday.
