The Memorial Day service at Crescent Heights Cemetery was as grand as it always has been. Surrounded by flags donated in memory of veterans, the Pleasant Hill American Legion put on a ceremony with emphasis on WWII veterans. Dean Spann, salutes Renee Wombles, commander of the Legion, as she presents him a flag to place at the base of the memorial.
