Cutting ties and moving on
IV The Emperor, King of Swords, XXI The World, VI of Swords
Merry meet, dear readers. Before you continue, take note: Tarot is for everyone, no matter your walk of life. While the cards have their own singular meanings, tarot is also largely intuitive and the meanings can change; no two tarot readers read the same way. This is a generalized reading, so take only what resonates with you and discard the rest.
The heart can not always get what it wants or desires, as much as we wish we could. Our wants and desires aren’t aren’t always good for us. People wear masks, there are things that look pretty but are rotten and poisonous. You’re desperate to hold on to the now; because of a shared history, sentimental thoughts or feelings, or a feeling of responsibility or duty. You’re afraid of the unknown of finally letting go.It’s time to end the cycle. You are the one in control of yourself and you need to take your power back and let it be known to those who would try to hold control or authority over you. You need to harden your heart and let your logical mind make the necessary decisions in order to break free from what’s holding you back. It’s not going to be easy and it will hurt, and some might even try to stop you, but at some point you must put yourself first. Then let yourself heal. This new freedom will give you the chance to truly explore another part of yourself, start a new part of your life you’d never imagined. Things will come back full circle for yourself and you can let yourself feel and celebrate this new part of your life. Learn from your past experiences but leave them in the past. Move on with new motivations, excitement and happiness and don’t let anything hold you back.
I hope you find something for yourself in this reading, reader. May your days be filled with love and light, even when it all feels too much; and remember to always be kind. Merry part, and merry meet again! Blessed be.
